It is very important that you read these words before giving any advice to anyone. Despite us moderating any topics, there may be things which might escape our vigilence at some point. So please be fully aware of what you post here!

Always tell what you know: on the other end of a post there's a probably an anxious customer waiting for an answer. Don't be misleading! If you're unsure, do not answer. And if you can back it up with links to various sources, all the better!
Mistakes can happen: if you've said something you thought was true and realised you've made a mistake, don't beat yourself up. Just edit your initial answer. You can do so by clicking the three little dots, bottom right of your post/comment.
Anything too private? Take it elsewhere: when a case becomes a little too sensitive and you and another user needs to discuss the case at greater length, please take it to your private message section. Of course, as admins, we won't be able to see what you post there so we trust you'll be able to provide your fellow community member with the right kind of support!
